Volusion Partner Program Types and Policies

PROGRAM TYPE - PREMIER PARTNER

Premier is an exclusive Program Type that gives greater marketing opportunities to the top 30% of Our partners. Partners must meet a set of criteria to be selected as a Premium Partner, as well as pay a premier partner fee, which may be waived in our sole discretion.

Only one partner from any particular service category will be selected as a Premier Partner. Premier Partners get both prominent placements in the Volusion marketplace and receive special co-marketing offerings. Additionally, Premier Partners can expect to receive additional marketing and promotions to Merchants over partners in other Program Types.

Eligibility for Premier Partner

PremierPartner has the highest market share in their category as determined by:

  • Industry Performance: A combination of Your annual sales and your customer demand.
  • Review Score: How merchants rate Your product and/or services based on public review sites.
  • Pricing Score: Based on how competitive your prices are compared to your competitors.
  • Payment of Premier Partner Fee: $10,000/yr
  • Revenue Share: 30% to Volusion

How to Remain Eligible as Premier Partner

After You have been a Premier Partner for 60 days, we will review the partnership and verify Your eligibility every quarter to ensure you are satisfying the criteria outlined below:

  • Demand Score: 30% of active Merchants using your product.
  • Review Score: A review score of 8 or greater when Merchants rate Your product and/or services on a scale of 1-10.
  • Pricing Score: Based on how competitive Your prices are compared to Your competitors.
  • Revenue Share: Greater than or equal to 30%

If we determine that you are at risk for ineligibility, we will communicate with you and provide you with improvements that must be made, and the timeline in which to make them, in order to remain in this Program Type.

If We determine that You are unable to satisfy the eligibility requirements or the partnership is otherwise no longer beneficial, we reserve the right to move you into a more appropriate Program Type, or terminate the Partnership Agreement with 30 days notice.

How to Leave the Premier Partner Program Type

You can opt out as a Premier Partner by providing notice of your intention to leave this Program Type to [email protected] 90 days prior to the end of your term. Your status as a Premier Partner will change at the end of that term. If you have any issues leaving this Program Type, please contact your partner account manager.

How to Rejoin as a Premier Partner

Once You leave this Program Type, You will only be able to rejoin:

  • If requested 30 days prior to the start of Your next term by emailing [email protected].
  • If We have not secured another Premier Partner in Your category/vertical.
  • If you have paid the premier partner fee of $10,000 and reactivation fee of $500.

PROGRAM TYPE - PREFERRED PARTNER

Preferred is our standard Program Type. Partners must meet a set of criteria to be selected as a preferred partner, as well pay a preferred partner fee, which may be waived in our sole discretion.

There are a limited number of partners from each service category that are selected for to be Preferred Partners. Preferred Partners can expect a mutually beneficial partnership.

Eligibility for Preferred Partner

Preferred Partner is eligible as determined by:

  • Industry Performance Score: A combination of your annual sales and your customer demand.
  • Review Score: How merchants rate Your product and/or services on public review sites.
  • Pricing Score: Based on how competitive Your prices are compared to Your competitors.
  • Payment of Preferred Partner Fee: $5,000/yr
  • Revenue Share: 20% to Volusion

How to Remain Eligible as Preferred Partner

After You have been a Preferred Partner for 60 days, we will review the partnership and verify Your eligibility every quarter to ensure You are satisfying the criteria outlined below:

  • Demand Score: 10% of active Merchants using your product.
  • Review Score: A review score of 7 or greater when Merchants rate Your product and/or services on a scale of 1-10.
  • Pricing Score: Based on how competitive Your prices are compared to Your competitors.
  • Revenue Share: 20% to Volusion

If we determine you are at risk for ineligibility, we will communicate with you and provide you with improvements that must be made, and the timeline in which to make them, in order to remain in this Program Type.

If We determine that You are unable to satisfy the eligibility requirements or the partnership is otherwise no longer beneficial, we reserve the right to terminate the Partnership Agreement with 30 days notice.

You can opt out as a Premier Partner by providing notice of your intention to leave this Program Type to [email protected] 90 days prior to the end of your term. Your status as a Premier Partner will change at the end of that term. If you have any issues leaving this Program Type, please contact your partner account manager.

How to Rejoin as a Preferred Partner

Once You leave this Program Type, You will only be able to rejoin:

  • If We have not secured the maximum number of Preferred Partners in Your category/vertical.
  • If you have paid the preferred partner fee of $5,000 and reactivation fee of $500.
