The Volusion team recently held a company-wide contest to raise funds for one of our favorite charities, March of Dimes. After several weeks of fundraising, we donated almost $14,000 and participated in the annual walk.

This motto is a key part of our core values, reminding us that great success yields great responsibility. A prime example of this commitment is our dedication to the March of Dimes.
Starting in early April, we launched a company-wide contest to see which department could raise the most money. Volusioneers took this challenge seriously, with the Marketing team selling tons of baked goods and breakfast tacos, while the Business Development team raised the stakes by raffling off an iPad! Customer Experience raked in a ton of dough with their very own raffle, and everyone pitched in to buy ice cream sundaes from the Services team. (We clearly like to eat.)
All of this work culminated in a 100% matched donation by Volusion executives, raising our grand total to a whopping $13,971! This more than doubled our contribution from 2010.
To wrap up the event, a legion of Volusioneers took time out of their Saturday to participate in the annual March for Babies. We had quite a turn out despite the heat!
