Volusion announces the opening of their London office, the first step in establishing itself in the growing European ecommerce market. This achievement coincides with a big appearance at Ecommerce Expo, one of Europe’s best ecommerce events.
It’s truly amazing to look back at the past decade to see how far we’ve come. From our humble beginnings in Kevin’s bedroom to the explosive growth of our company to 200+ employees and 20,000+ active clients, it’s been quite a ride.
That’s why we’re especially honored to announce the opening of our European regional headquarters in London. We’ve been working with European customers for quite some time now, but wanted to take it a step further by establishing a physical presence in the UK.
“The UK is one of the world’s hot beds for digital innovation and is a key market in Volusion’s ongoing global expansion,” says Kevin Sproles, Volusion CEO. “There is a strong appetite locally for easy to use SaaS solutions, so we anticipate strong demand for our services. We look forward to helping UK and European customers achieve competitive advantage through their ecommerce efforts.”
Leading the way for our new office, our third overall, is David House, Senior Sales Manager. His role is to drive the growth and performance of Volusion in Europe while focusing on creating strategic partnerships and growing awareness of our award-winning offering. He explains:
“We’re already seeing great demand in the UK for an ecommerce platform that provides customers with the features, services and add-ons to build, manage and grow a thriving online business, whether they are new to ecommerce or experienced online sellers.”
What makes our offering so unique for this particular market is the team supporting the software, doing everything in our power to provide an exceptional customer experience. Our mission is to take the widely recognized passion for customer support and extend it to every customer around the globe.
In fact, our Chief Customer Officer, David “Mitz” Mitzenmacher has been shortlisted in the UK Customer Service Leader category at this year’s National Customer Service Awards, to be announced on December 7.
But just opening an office isn’t really enough. That’s why we’re making such a splash at the UK’s leading ecommerce convention, Ecommerce Expo. COO/CMO, Clay Olivier, is leading a seminar that’s focused on increasing the power of social networks, showing companies how they can tailor their ecommerce strategies to better succeed online. His presentation, “Adding to the Four Ps – Focusing on People to Create an Army of Promoters,” received great reviews from attendees.
And as our gift to you, we’ve included the slides from his speech. There’s some great insight in there, so be sure to run through the entire thing:
We’re thrilled to take our ecommerce solution to the UK, Europe, and beyond. Thanks to all of our fantastic customers for allowing us to take such great strides.
