After receiving helpful feedback from customers participating in the beta release of our newest feature, Volusion mCommerce™, we’re thrilled to extend the next wave of ecommerce to everyone. Now, your customers can find a mobile-optimized version of your store, no matter where they are. Talk about convenient conversions!
Volusion mCommerce takes your online store and morphs it to be optimized for the iPhone. Customers will be able to easily navigate through your products and categories like never before, helping you to extend your reach and revenue. If you’re on the Winter ’09 version of our software, we’ve already enabled Volusion mCommerce for you. If you’re currently on Version 5, you’ll need to upgrade to take advantage of this revolutionary tool.

There are a few things to note about Volusion mCommerce. Take a look at this helpful article for more information – in the mean time, here are the top level items:
- Volusion mCommerce is currently compatible with the iPhone. Our development team is hard at work to expand the feature to other leading smartphone devices in the near future.
- The default logo for your mobile-optimized store is a “text only” logo. You’ll need to log in to your admin area and upload a graphic logo if you wish to do so. Details can be found in the aforementioned article.
- This feature isn’t compatible with members only sites.
- Your categories are set to display in a specific fashion. If you have Featured Products, New Products or Top Sellers enabled, these will display first. Other categories will appear based on the parent ID and other considerations. Reference the knowledge base article for full details.
