The Volusion team recently participated in AIDS Walk Austin to raise money for AIDS education and service providers in Central Texas.
At Volusion we love an opportunity to give back to local, non-profit organizations. They represent an important part of the community and their efforts yield invaluable results. Following one of our core values to “Rock the Golden Rule,” we take pride in helping others in any way we can.
This month, we focused on the AIDS Walk Austin. We sponsored 10 of our employees for the walk on Sunday, and spots couldn’t have filled up faster! With a great turnout, we joined 1,200 participants and took to the streets of downtown Austin to walk in support of this great cause.
Take it from Oscar Pico, one of the 10 Volusion walkers: “The AIDS walk is an important event for our community and I feel very proud to work for a company like Volusion that supports this cause. The AIDS walk not only serves as memorial for those who we have lost but also as a celebration of life for those that are still with us”
