So how do you arm yourself with relevant business information and advice? Blogs are an excellent way to get the essential news, tips and resources you need to run your small online business – for free!

Here are some awesomely useful business blogs to follow on a regular basis:

1. Mashable

We check it every morning to get our daily dose of what’s trending in the digital world. Just try not to let yourself get distracted by all the fun “watercooler” type pieces in the sidebar.

2. Fast Company

Not only is Fast Company‘s site incredibly visually appealing, it’s also mentally appealing. Its creative, compelling articles and case studies are wonderful ways to learn about entrepreneurship, design, technology trends, industry influencers, and so much more.

Emily, this is a great list of blogs that all have a different perspective on the business world. My personal favourite would have to be Forbes. I would highly recommend taking a look at Giles Cadman’s view on business and great leadership along with success. Here is his profile: https://klout.com/GilesCadman and his business blog: http://gilescadman.com/business/

Emily, good blog article. Is there a time frame on offering a blog option for Volusion?

My website sells custom golf drivers, http://www.bombtechgolf.com and I am forced to generate a blog that lives on blog.bombtechgolf.com and I believe it is not as powerful as a subdomain.
