I’m happy I finally found something on this topic but sadly these ideas dont work for me. I am still getting tons of abandoned carts and tons of shoppers who are not adding items to the cart but are spending lots of time on the site. My prices are very competitive and in most cases the lowest in my market.

As you can see from my site I have already instituted many of these ideas except for up front shipping which will not work since I use live calculations.

I really could use some help.

Hey Mike, sorry to hear that you’re still having difficulties. Keep in mind that abandoned carts are indeed just a part of selling online, so don’t fret too much when you see some. Oftentimes, abandoned carts come from search engines crawling your site – check out this article (//www.volusion.com/ecommerce-blog/articles/why-so-many-abandoned-carts/) for more information on that regard. If you’re not able to convert sales, you may take a look at the navigation or your site or some of your product merchandising – are you getting customers where they need to be, and just as important, are you showing the benefit of your product beyond the low price? Hope this helps! -Matt
