V13 Defect Resolutions and Other Modifications
Updates to Storefront Editor Functionality
- Save and Cancel icons are now present for page text editing and editable regions in the header and footer.
- When you are in edit-mode, you will now see a ‘Checkmark’ to Save changes and an ‘X’ to Cancel changes.
- When editing page text, changes are also saved when clicking the Enter key. Changes are no longer automatically saved upon clicking outside of the editable region.

Updates to Storefront Editor Functionality
- The HTML code-view can now be resized by dragging the resize icon in the bottom right of the code area. You can also Save in code-view by clicking the Save button.
- Paragraph tags () will no longer be automatically added and when a line break is added, a line break () will now be inserted.
- Span tags and empty HTML tags will no longer be removed upon Save.
- HTML mark-up and inline tags are no longer modified by the storefront editor
Updates to Mobile Commerce Functionality
- The cart now properly displays all items that were added.
- Shipping methods now display properly.
- Product GIF images now display properly.

Enhanced Mobile Commerce
Enhanced Mobile Commerce is here! Help shoppers buy from you anytime, anywhere by delivering a completely mobile-optimized experience, from browsing all the way to checkout.
In addition to the entirely new checkout process, Mobile Storefront 2nd Edition includes the following new features:
- Your store logo as well as 'Home' and 'Cart' icons are in the header on all product and category pages so shoppers can more easily navigate your store
- There are direct links to category and product pages enabling quick access to more information
- Product images on product pages are now larger and clearer for your shoppers
To Enable Mobile Commerce:
- Go the Design > Mobile in your Admin Area and turn ON both the new Mobile Storefront (2nd Edition) and the new Mobile Checkout (If you are based in the US, accept at least one of the 4 major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), and already have 'mCommerce' enabled, you will automatically have the new Mobile Checkout turned ON. All others must turn ON Mobile Checkout by visiting Design > Mobile.)
Items to Note:
- One of the Mobile Storefront themes must be turned ON in order for Mobile Checkout to work in your store.
- At this time, Volusion's mobile checkout accepts the four major credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
- Note that if outside the US, storefront prices must include VAT/GST amount (VAT must be disabled at Settings > Tax).
- If you have customized your current mobile storefront (Mobile Storefront Original), please note that customizations will be lost when transitioning to the new Mobile Storefront 2nd Edition. You may want to wait until you are able to update the CSS on your Mobile Storefront 2nd Edition before transitioning. New Storefront Page Editor
Quickly and easily make updates to your storefront with Volusion’s new storefront editor. This editor provides intuitive editing tools for your page images and text as well as articles and your header and footer links.
About the new Storefront Editor:
- Remember to select ‘Enable On-Page Editing’ on your storefront
- All of the individual buttons on the new Editor have on-hover text to explain what they can be used for.
- Note that clicking out of an editable Page Text or Header/Footer field will Save the edited content and the ESC key on your keyboard will abandon any changes.

The Volusion Platform (V13) Defect Resolutions and Other Modifications
- Due to Google's retirement of Google Wallet/Checkout, it has been removed as a payment method from all Volusion stores. Volusion offers numerous payment methods including the ability to accept credit cards directly in your store. Learn more about our credit card processing program here. To close your Google Checkout account, see Google's instructions here.
- Internet Explorer 10 is now a supported browser in the Admin and will no longer result in a browser version warning message when used there.

The Volusion Platform (V13) Enhancements
- Forget the time and hassle spent entering tax rates and staying up to date on rate changes. Automatic tax calculation is now seamlessly included on the Volusion Platform, thanks to our partnership with leading tax provider, Avalara. To begin using automatic rates, go to Settings > Tax and click Settings. Select Use automatic rates and click Save. Learn more.
- The Google Shopping Feed now sends Product Weight to Google as 'shipping_weight'. Additionally, the weight units are sent as abbreviations (lb, kg).
- Performance has been improved with SQL indexes

- The Google Shopping Feed now works without enabling the Generic API at Inventory > Import/Export > Volusion API
- Merchants can now select Priority Mail to create shipping labels
- USPS First-Class Mail Parcel now returns rates when generating shipping labels
- International orders through the Paymentech gateway no longer error if more than 2 characters are entered into the State field on checkout
- Order Confirmation email now properly displays the breakdown of VAT/GST for each line item

The Volusion Platform (V13) Enhancements
- Modified the order updating process to reduce the delivery times for orders received from Amazon.
- Added an easy method to update the Company Name/Company Slogan fields on AboutUs.asp.
- Added a new "Welcome" page for the Volusion trial experience.
- Added a new "Getting Started" page for new store owners to increase the speed at which they can get up and running.

- Corrected Mail Class Service Code mapping for Endicia and Stamps.com.
- When uploading images on the Products page, there is now a progress spinner denoting the loading process. In addition, an error message will display if the file size limit is exceeded.
- Searching Coupon Usage > One-Time Use Coupon now returns the correct results.
- Corrected a display issue for AmazonListings.aspx in IE 8.
- Removed a duplicate 'close' character in IE for both the Deal of the Day and eBay product picker modals.
- When adding a new eBay listing, all required fields are now marked with a red asterisk.
- The Sale Start Date is now disabled for Amazon listings without an ASIN.
- Modified the process for updating errored Amazon listings with no ASIN. Merchants can now review the errors, then resend a correct listing via the spreadsheet upload and delete the errored listing.
Technical Note
- Added and improved ID and classes on the product detail page, specifically for price, description and review boxes.

- Modifications to Volusion's Amazon integration:
- A success message will now display when an Amazon listing is successfully submitted.
- An appropriate listing messaging now displays when attempting to navigate to a listing that does not exist.
- Volusion's Stamps.com integration now places all data in the appropriate fields within the XML file.
- Re-installing your active template will now auto-publish the template files.
- Specific USPS services codes have been updated to use their corresponding trademark/registered symbol.

V13 Enhancements
- On Settings > Shipping, the shipping carrier display has been updated to display country-specific shipping options based upon the merchant's shipping country of origin. This makes your shipping set-up even faster and more intuitive.

- For Volusion merchants using Skrill, one of Volusion's international payment gateways, the "No payment necessary" message now displays on orders with a zero balance due.
- API Imports now allow 255 characters (increased from 100) to be inserted into the PhotoURL_Small and PhotoURL_Large fields to match the CSV import and product record page entry fields character support.
- The "Share" button on the Facebook Social Store has been adjusted to no longer overlay the discount price when the Like promotion is enabled and the store is Liked.
- A text update has been made for eBay orders. Text noting that "This order was placed via EBAY" now displays in the pricing box for eBay orders in individual order records from Orders > Process Orders.
- Importing XML via API to the Products table now correctly inserts all fields on the initial INSERT.
- "ToFirstName" and "ToLastName" fields have been added to the USPS International label printing API to comply with USPS changes.
- Volusion affiliates are now tracked on PayPal Express orders.

V13 Enhancements
True One-time Use Coupons
- Options for both 'One Time Use' and 'One Time Use Per Customer' coupons are now available through your Volusion store.
- The new 'One Time Use' coupon can only be used once by a single shopper. This enables you to better track your coupon redemption and prevents coupon codes from being shared beyond their intended use.
- The Discount and Coupon attributes are now responsive to values selected only displaying when necessary
- Products and Categories are now selectable through a simple interface. The product and category code entry remains available for use.

V13 Enhancements
- Volusion merchants accepting international payments though Skrill (Moneybookers), one of Volusion's international payment gateways, can now edit the page text on one-page checkout. This enables you to localize the page content creating a more seamless shopping experience for your international customers. - As of July 15, 2013 there is an additional field required by Google for products to be posted successfully to Google Product Searches. To complete this required field, go to the Inventory > Products and proceed to an individual product record. Then, go to Advanced Info > 3rd Party Integrations and select the appropriate response for "Google Unique Identifier." To review Google's Required and Recommended fields, see Google's Products Feed Specification and their simplified table on the Summary of Attribute Requirements. - A performance enhancement has been made to your admin dashboard enabling much faster load times.

- Categories added to a product will now display immediately after being applied on the Product Details page. The button text in both the Category and Option modals on the Product Details page has been changed to read "Apply" instead of "Save," to more properly indicate the functionality.

- Corrected an issue with category filtering when more than eight filters were present in the URI.

PayPal Express Integration
Our new PayPal Express integration provides a more robust process for your shoppers that choose to pay with PayPal. You can present your shoppers with a branded order page in PayPal and their payment and shipping information is automatically added to your store's checkout page where they complete the checkout process. This new integration ensures orders are submitted after payment is complete via PayPal.

- Your shoppers will no longer receive an "invalid input" error when attempting to return to the store's Orderfinished.asp page after completing checkout via PayPal Standard.
- Using special characters (. , - /) in the State field on Shoppingcart.asp no longer causes an endless page loop
- The default Country at Settings > Shipping > Shipping Origin will now be set to the merchant's billing country that was entered when signing up for a new store (note: impacts stores purchased after the release only).
- As always, we've also made additional security and performance enhancements.

V13 Enhancements
- Enhancements have been made to eBay that increase the speed in which merchants receive orders from eBay for successful listings.
- Merchants will also notice that the eBayListingID is populated with the appropriate eBay URL in a timelier manner.
- The product tables in trials and new stores have been modified in order to present a cleaner user experience for new merchants.
- New creative assets have been added to the Design > Template section of the admin including an updated Please Wait graphic.
- New security measures have been added that enhance the protection of specific admin pages.

V13 Enhancements
- Merchants now have the ability to Reinstall their store's Active Template, allowing them to overwrite any customizations previously made to that template.
- Responsive navigation has been implemented in the Admin Area, the top navigation bar will now adjust according to the size of the browser window.
- The maximum number of characters in the PhotoURL_Small and PhotoURL_Large fields have been increased to 255.

- Addressed an issue that was preventing an OrderID number in the Quick Jump predictive drop-down menu from jumping to the selected OrderID's detail page.
- Storefront Search will now pull results even when the searchable term, within the product description field, is directly adjacent to HTML tags.
- Under Settings > Payment, the displayed gateway no longer changes to the default gateway for the selected country, when returning to the page.
- Menu levels for Rollover Colors Popout navigation menu types can now be customized independently for each individual menu (instead of being applied to all subsequent menus).
- The Browse function, on storefront on-page editing, now works for older templates in Chrome and Safari browsers.
- The Alternate View thumbnail image will no longer display when a non-color-swatch option has been selected.
- Resolved an issue that was causing "Feature Value 99999999" to appear at the top of the Admin Area after a specific change (e.g. adding a new newsletter under Marketing > Newsletters) is saved by an Admin account.
- Resolved an issue that was preventing Soft Add to Cart, vZoom, and on-page editing from functioning on storefronts accessed in FireFox 18+ when using the Rollover Colors Popout menu type.

- Grey text and icons have been darkened to increase the visual contrast of words and icons in the Admin Area. Additionally, the Admin Area spacing has been decreased to display more information above-the-fold, increasing the visibility of the Admin Area without scrolling.
V13 Defect Resolutions and Other Modifications
- Resolved an issue that was preventing customers' from being able to complete their order after their session had expired while on one-page-checkout.asp. Customers are now redirected to login.asp in order to log back in. Once logged back in, the contents of their cart are saved, and they can complete their order. In this instance there will not be an abandoned cart generated under Orders > Abandoned/Live Carts.
- Resolved an issue that prevented customers from being able to click the tracking number that appears in the OrderHasShipped email when a merchant used the API to trigger the OrderHasShipped email.
- The Google Trusted Stores Shipped feed will now send the tracking number, gateway, and shipdate, even if the ShippingMethodID field is missing.
- eBay orders no longer revert to a status of Processing after the orders have been marked as Shipped.
- eBay orders will no longer have duplicate Payment Log entries.
- Merchants using PayPal will no longer receive IPN errors.
- Pressing Enter on the keyboard when using the Quick Jump field under Orders > Process Orders will now take you to the OrderID entered in the Quick Jump field. This functionality now works across all browsers.
- The HTML Editor window will no longer minimize when clicking through the steps to upload an image while in Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari. Additionally, the "ok" button will be left aligned and show regardless of how large the uploaded image is.
- The LiveChat Premium chat prompt now works in FireFox and Chrome browsers.
- Addressed an issue with the layout of the enhanced checkout page that would occur when a merchant had disabled Estimated Shipping on their store.
- Category images will now only appear up to 160px tall in the Category Images section of the Admin Area to ensure that the functionality isn't masked by larger category preview images.
- Adjusted the Inventory > Products > Advanced Info > Custom Fields entry field to now accept up to 255 characters.
- Addressed an issue that was causing the Reports under Reports > Reporting to get stuck displaying "Generating Report, Please Wait".
- Addressed an issue that was causing the Reports under Reports > Reporting to display a "SQL Error:" with an incomplete explanation of what SQL failed in the report.
- Quick Edit Toolbar CSS code will no longer reset CSS on the storefront for merchants logged in as an Admin.
- Resolved an issue that was causing a 500 error to display when adding a product's Free Accessories or IsProductCode options to the cart on the Phone Orders page.
- The phone orders page now displays a notification that an item is out of stock when a merchant attempts to add an item with no stock and Do Not Allow Backorders checked.
- Resolved an issue that was causing orders to be inadvertently deleted from the database when attempting to cancel an order.
- Assigning multiple checkbox options under a single option category now serves an error message instead of a 500 error.
- The Quick Edit Toolbar no longer causes jQuery conflicts in stores with custom jQuery.
- The Quick Edit Toolbar no longer displays at the bottom of the page in IE8 and IE9 when a store is in maintenance mode.
- Resolved an issue that was preventing the browse function, inside of the quick edit toolbar, from working as intended when attempting to edit an older template in Chrome or Safari.

- The correct time zone now displays on the Review Orders/Track Packages page of myaccount.asp.
- Corrected an issue that was causing the Sort By functionality on ReviewList.asp page to return a "no records found" message when relevant records existed.
- Corrected an issue that was preventing the Next Page button from functioning when using Soft Add to Cart and the Checkboxes category display mode.
- Corrected an issue that was preventing the image Lightbox from displaying correctly in IE8 and IE9 when a store is in maintenance mode.
- The trend reports that appear on the admin dashboard will now be based on the timezone set for the store under Settings > Company.
- Bit.ly links no longer contain hard-coded non-secure URLs, triggering security warnings, when clicking Share from within the Admin Area.
- The Multi-child Add-to-cart product page display is now centered with 100% width.
- Sorting products by popularity within the social store will now sort in ascending rather than descending order.
- Resolved an issue that was preventing tax from calculating correctly when discounts are applied (select cases).
- Resolved an issue that was preventing tax from calculating correctly with discounts that are applied to multiple line-items with the same product code (products with non-child product options).
