On June 21, 2010, Volusion was awarded The American Business Award, or Stevie, for Business Innovation of the Year for our new product Fraud Score, which is a credit card protection service for online store owners.
We’ve pulled out the power drills to add a new shelf to the Volusion awards vault. This week we’re very proud to announce that we were named the winner of the 2010 American Business Awards, or Stevies, for Business Innovation of the Year. This year, we took the trophy for one of our latest creations, Fraud Score. This popular offering helps online merchants detect fraudulent transactions before processing orders, which saves business owners time, money and stress.
This is our second time being crowned as king of the pack. In 2008, we won the Stevie Award for Best Customer Service. And over the past several years, we’ve been regular finalists in multiple categories. This year we were also recognized as a finalist in the following: Fastest Growing Company of the Year, Executive of the Year and Best Blog. Receiving multiple recognitions at the American Business Awards is a very high honor, particularly in light of the esteemed reputation of the ceremony and the number of great companies involved.
Stevie Awards were presented in over 40 categories including Best Overall Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year. More than 2,700 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration with over 200 executives across the country participating in the judging process to determine the Finalists and winners.
While it’s a great feeling to be recognized amongst our peers for our hard work and dedication, we know these honors are merely a byproduct of our continued dedication to customer-centric operations, all in the name of creating simple and innovative experiences that enable you to succeed online.
