Volusion customer, Fun Stuff 4 Babies, is set to debut its featured product, the Daddy Diaper Changing Toolbox, on VH1’s new show, “Dad Camp.” The premiere of “Dad Camp” is set for May 31, 2010.
We’re excited to see another one of our customers make their move from the computer screen to the small screen. Florida-based merchant, Fun Stuff 4 Babies, is a creator of entertaining items for moms and dads-to-be. Their most popular product, the Daddy Diaper Changing Toolbox, has caught quite a bit of attention from the press and is now set to be featured on cable network VH1’s newest show, “Dad Camp.”
Storeowners Chris and Julie Hartsfield came up with the idea for this great baby shower gift after attending a joint shower for their third child. Chris noticed that while the event was a great time, there weren’t many gifts for the new father. Thus, the practical yet comical Daddy Diaper Changing Toolbox was born. The box includes daddy-oriented staples for their first diaper change, including a mask, tongs, goggles and poncho. The product has quickly taken off in retail outlets and the business’ online store.
Chris and Julie moved their online business to Volusion after experiencing a lack of design flexibility and minimal customer support from their previous provider. Upon coming to Volusion, the couple also had their site custom made by our team of professional designers. Speaking of the experience, they note “We recently had our website redone by Volusion and it looks awesome! Molly, Amee, and Sterling did a wonderful job on getting the website done quickly and ahead of schedule.”
With their new site and awesome product ready to go, Chris and Julie were very happy to receive news of the Daddy Diaper Changing Toolbox being picked up and featured by VH1. Debuting on May 31, 2010, “Dad Camp” is a show geared to help unprepared boyfriends, along with their pregnant girlfriends, learn vital lessons about fatherhood and being a better parent. Featuring famed relationship expert Dr. Jeff Gardere, or Dr. Jeff, the young fathers will receive parenting classes and therapy sessions to learn the importance of committing to their soon-coming child. The series is slated to last for eight episodes, all lasting one hour apiece.
This is quite the opportunity for FunStuff4Babies.com – the viewing audience is expected to reach a whopping 2-6 million. Congratulations to Chris and Julie for their growing success, and we wish them the best of luck with their rapidly approaching breakthrough – be sure to check out the premiere on May 31 at 10/9pc!
