TheFind acquired by Facebook

TheFind is a free comparison shopping engine where you can compare prices and shop for products. In March, Facebook bought this shopping search engine for an undisclosed amount to help boost its advertising business, allowing Facebook to venture into ecommerce.

Google wants your website to be mobile-friendly

In late February, Google announced a new mobile algorithm update that will go live on April 21st 2015. With an increase in mobile usage, Google wants to ensure that the results it delivers in the search results are mobile-friendly. Amazon Webstore is shutting down

Amazon announced that they are closing their Webstore store in July 2016. Amazon is not allowing new merchant signups and have told the existing merchants that they will have access to their data and be able to export to a new ecommerce platform until July 2016.

Facebook announces Businesses on Messenger

In the recent F8 conference, Facebook revealed the new Businesses on Messenger. It is designed to enable businesses to easily reach and communicate with customers. With the new messenger, business owners can send receipts, business updates, answer questions and interact with their customers.
