Question / Problem: I'm getting "Licensing Authentication Failed" on my site, what does this mean?
Answer / Solution: This error is caused by a couple of reasons:- Entering the incorrect domain name in the admin area under Settings &mdash> Quicksetup in the Domain Name field at the bottom of the page
- Adding custom ASP / HTML pages to your store and referencing one of our built in page or the code in a built in page.
If the error was caused by step 2 above, you will either need to move your files just under the wwwroot folder or remove references to our code or files from your custom pages to prevent the error from occurring again.
To restore access to your siter, you will then need to contact support at 800-646-3517 and request a reset on your licensing information.
Note: When creating custom pages, you cannot reference or link to any built in pages unless you put your custom page directly under the wwwroot folder. If you put this in a sub folder under wwwroot or above the wwwroot folder, this error will occur.
