Yes. Social Store is intended for use on a Facebook Business Page as an additional promotional tool for your Volusion store.

Do I need anything other than my Volusion store and my Facebook Business Page to get started?

Yes. Beginning October 1, 2011, Facebook will require you to have an SSL installed on your Volusion store to ensure that the Social Store application and your store exchange information securely. If you currently don't have an SSL installed, please click here for pricing and information.

Is this feature available on all plans?

Yes. Social Store is available completely free of charge for all hosting plans using version V11 of our software.

Do I have to set my products as "Featured Products" for them to show up on my Social Store?

No. You can select different products to display on your Social Store. If you want to promote the same products on both your Volusion storefront and your Social Store, you can do that too.

Am I allowed to select products with options to display on my Social Store?

Yes. Products with options are fully compatible and can be displayed on your Social Store.

Does my Social Store just display products?

No, it does so much more! You can take full advantage of the social commerce revolution by using your Social Store to display your company's branding information, welcome messaging, Deal of the Day pages and Facebook Like button promotions.
