The right technology can make a world of difference to a non-profit agency
Non-profits are often the last types of organizations to obtain IT departments and the resources needed to build their presence online. In order to support their charitable efforts, Volusion is offering free Platinum stores to ten new non-profits every month. These non-profits will be able to accept donations, as well as sell their products online.
- Be a recognized charitable, nonprofit, non-governmental organization in the United States and must provide appropriate documentation to prove this status
- Have a primary purpose and published mission statement that are non-religious. For example, houses of worship or educational institutions with a sole religious curriculum are not eligible, whereas social service groups sponsored by religious organizations and serving the community at large may be eligible
- Have a primary purpose that is not political
- Not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, or national origin, religious affiliation, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, physical appearance, language, educational background, or veteran status
